DuPage County Public Transit Update

DuPage County and Metra have a very good working relationship.    The staff at Metra has been more than willing to assist DuPage County with any questions or concerns that arise.

Like many of you,  I too have been concerned with the many cancellations and delays that have occurred over the past few weeks.  Discussions have taken place about the best approach to have our concerns addressed.

Here in DuPage County we want to work with Metra and are grateful that representation from Metra will be attending our Public Transit meeting on Tuesday, January 21 at 7:30 a.m.  This is a great opportunity to get first hand knowledge of exactly what happened and what the plan is moving forward.

Not only will the committee be hearing from Metra,  James Healy, DuPage County Board Member, District 5 will  be speaking about his fine work as Chairman of the Transportation Steering Committee with the National Associations of Counties.
